Did you work with a LC or IBCLC, how was your experience?

LC = lactation advisors
IBCLC = internationally certified committee LC

MeineMeine daughter now is 9 months old, and I have we, that with on it is delivered, worked with the LC with the hospital and from since her/its/their birth. I found her/it/them very helpful and full from good information. BUT as I increase learn about nursing and with other mommies speaks that I fast steered me incorrectly like she/it feels. ICH\'m, he/it begins to think, thereß she/it not as much training got, as I first had introduced myself. Examples:

(1) we had difficulties of snapping on a side of the beginning, gave us a nipple shield in the middle of the night of one of the nurses and exited. I never had go from theseört, and didn\'t have any ground, as it is to be used. The nächsten day showed us to the LC like and remained working with us, while we were there, but if she/it brings my daughter couldn\'t to snap to it, she/it would ask me to accelerate the shield. I never got every instruction, thereß I, to cure her/it/them of the sign AWAY or to smooth, was assumed, like. TWO-TWO of my good friends delivered also with the same hospital... cont...

and does something guess? You/they, the two one nipple signs was given, I my really, did all the THREE of us really need these??

(2) by 3 months, I noticed that more my daughter and felt, that I didn\'t pump enough, as nurse frequently worked. Instead of going through everything of it this is "Her/its/their milk supply really low" possibilities, she/it shared which herbs, in order to buy, in order to increase my supply, for which I was greatful, as well, but spent much painfully become saturated too much days/nights.

(3) recently, my daughter was increasingly more difficult to work as a nurse. She/it nurses only well if schläfrig. I gave on für advice here a question known, and did some good tops get, but I called also my LC, she/it said to push solids and doesn\'t worry you for itself, if she/it nurses 2-3 times/day, is she/it well it, that something? I believed old with 9 months, thereß she/it a minimum of 4 times/day should nurse??? then asked her/it/them, whether I took the trouble to avoid to give formula? I erklärte, that I wanted to nurse beyond the 12 month marks, whether I increase solids, wouldn, push, \'t that starts disaccustoming?

Do I think for any prospective matter, I will look an IBCLC, everyone has, of property experiences with them? Did one affiliate at La Leche League maybe?

For what is it worth, I scan most most nursing questions on it here, and people see, who had bad advice to unauthenticated lactation advisors across, and across and across it seems similar, that every other nursing problem has his/its origins of a hospital advisor, but still I must see somebody, that is steered injustice from an IBCLC.

LaLa Leche-Verband leaders seem one scrap inbetween to fall, and lean more to the capable side. Occasionally, somebody reports, thereß one KL L couldn\'t helps them, but I sees claim nobody to be wrong advice, to KL been given.

Thanks! We seem für, to now make quite good, but if arises me any prospective problem, \'ve sought already an IBCLC on the telephone number through KL, I won\'t call none more the old LC!!!

through not to creative, I had a rough beginning of care and my daughter, colic, that frustrated both from us, that we went, therefore had to see a lactation advisor. Während she/it any pacification, her/its/their tops weren, gave, t very helpfully.

Care was only something, for which both of us had to be used, and comfortable with. After a frustrating first month I only ditched the LC\'s-Rat, in order to do my daughter, that as upright as möglich sits, as a nurse, and decided to work lying as a nurse with both of us down.

It became so much easier after it. We were fähig, to relax us, and became pros.

So I assume, that nurses and LCs are helpful to some, but I didn\'t find her/it/them for myself. It was für my daughter and me more easily, in order to serve us only through our problems, sooner than you tries, somebody else to folgen\'s-Rat to the T.

Concerning the last mistake your daughter in care, if she/it doesn\'t decrease, and her/its/their urine is not dark or smelly that I would become not to worry. NichtNicht each baby drinks at the breast through and at the first year. Some are more than the wants to start, itself with nine months too entwöhnen. I know my Freund\'s-Sohn was, and he/it entwöhnte itself with 10 1/2 months complete. My daughter became about 11 entwöhnt. More than probably they it only not like very still dafür as it interests.

you look durchdurch at the lilies, that I got a hat fully with the hospital from advice about the LCs and the nurses. IrgendeinIrgendein helpful at the moment, some not very much so.

At the moment, I took the whole advice, that I could get and could then represent from that, what actually worked for us.

Because of the aftereffects of a C-Teiles gone incorrectly, the LCs believed that I would have to pump if I wanted to nurse successfully. I had lost much blood/fluids; my K\'catch played örper in the replacing of those and (alleged, bringing of breast milk to it, a last priority would be to.

This was not established to be true, Thank God! , I found it almost unmöglich, to pump, I so often brought my daughter to my breast, as I could it, and I became, thirstier than I ever in my life was! I drank every time ungefähr 60 oz of the water, as I only nursed in order to quench my thirst. Seemingly this towardsügte, to get back me to level AND brand milk upward.

In the mass of advice, I got, a matter rings true: , To bring her/its/their baby to breast, often solves most problems. : )
