Given from pharmacy wrong narcotic?

Refilled a RX today. Come home, you never see in the bag. Hours später the pharmacy telephone calls, that say, you don\'t give this to me my medication and don\'t ask you me to return in it & bring you my bag. As I said, thereß I not into her/it/them could return, then asked, whether they could come pick the bag up, that she/it gave me. I then believed, thereß somewhat lazy was, therefore during I the RX, to find out about her/it/them, tests at the telephone with them, has gegeben\'s-Medikament for me somebody else, Morphine, instead of my Synthroid. She/it then continues to tell me, thereß the reason, that they knew, that something was, injustice is that another customer returned her/its/their medication, that said, is the wrong. Everything, which I can think, is what happens, wäre, if I had taken this medication? I have the information over my bottles never extremely close to attention, if they are refills, given I open only the bottle and take the pill.

Therefore not only, however, they broke HIPPA, in that they gave me somebody, others private piece of information she/it gave somebody else my information. ICH\'m also a new nursing mother. If took this medication w Iürde, I been able to kill my offspring. About taking of it and driving not too erwähnen. ICH\'ve never taken a narcotic previously, therefore I am not sure, if it my judgment beeintrit would become ächtigen, or not.

What should I do? My parents say, you speak with a lawyer, but I, \'m not certainly this will make none good. The pharmacy wants, thereß I ASAP the medication brings back.

If you feels should inform you a lawyer like it, that you then were wronged. If you a lawyer verständigen becomes, you are not under any duty to return the medication as it is proof to your case, although, if you don\'t have any intent to take the trouble to start a process, I either would rinse the pills, or returns her/it/them the pharmacy, as it is illegal to possess her/it/them. OOOOOOOOOOOR you könnten says * * * * it and gets out any money from the deal.... they can morphine pills for between 5-10 dollars, that depends from the situation, and that also sells you, sells... not that un advocating of such behaviors... the say only of HAHA! 100 percent 1 voices saves to it! ! through nursenur.... you took the trouble to correct her/its/their mistake in a timely way. It is your responsibilty, around your flask every.single.time to checks, you fill a rule. Always, you guarantee, thereß the writing your name and the name of the medication exactly equals. Also check that the pill equals the description. Most of the time of the drug information sheet will say it to something like it "this is a rectangle, peach colored pill". therefore müssen really checks you and is responsibly over it.
Yes, the pharmacy definitely interjected the ball and it been able to finish badly if you had taken the medication, that something, if you were allergic and went in anaphylactic-Schock?), but the fact is, this human mistake happens... always check the writing and the pill!!!
You/they can inform a lawyer, if you liked to it, but I don\'t say any damage, no foul, and atleast called you the person and tried to remedy the situation. I würde definitely writes a letter and speaks personally with the pharmacy manager and tells them from this situation. Take a photo of the bottle, with the writing on the wrong name and wrong medicine on it, so that you have proof,... I places really auf\'t believes, thereß I however a lawyer intelligent would become, but that is my personal opinion.

I understand decided, how sorrowfully this is for you, and you have every right to be excited. It was a bad mistake - one, that should not have happened. Pharmacies have multiple protections in place to try this of event and to prevent. But no system is, 100 percent of mistake frees, if people are involved!

I am very glad, that nothing bad happened in this situation, you remain he/it in mind. Yes, they broke HIPPA and broke your right to Privatsphäre. You/they have the right, she/it dafür, to report. A lawyer probably is not necessary as you don\'t need one, about a formal complaint against the pharmacy regarding them, that break HIPPA, to do. Itself too bema legal gray area is ühen to be looked for compensation in a situation, where was harmed nobody, where you are unlikely to become generally accepted.

Meanwhile, please you keep in mind that you are in possession of narcotics, that are not yours. Mistakes or is not you ethically, and möglicherweise legally, you restrict in order to return her/it/them. There is not any reason to load in difficulties, you only admit her/it/them theück and then, you give the pharmacy hell, if it brings you to feeling better to do, with it.
