Is it sure to drink alcohol during on lithium?

I had a baby approximately only one month ago. I waited until two days, you yearn to start to take before my lithium, because I wanted to nurse as it, itself as möglich. I had a bißchen of a meltdown, and my doctor placed me twice per day on 300mg. I Hafen\'t had a chance to have even one glass of wine, natürlich, because I nursed, and now, I really would take advantage gladly of the opportunity to slow down with my husband on a Friday night and to have a beverage. But ich\'ve hörte from conflicting information whether or certainly is not it, while you are on lithium. If it is okay, a few Getränke, to have? I don\'t have any experience in lithium from first hand, but my mommy was on it for bipolar some 20 years and is with one glass of wine or two or a beer on occasion, fine. She/it does an effort to do it with the dinner or a small thing, itself für the weekend, to slow.
Believes I, that it is completely fine, only is carefully and enjoys your duration with your husband. Congrats on your new baby, you definitely earn a bi, To chill ßchen of time.
HP, I follow also the same rules for me if a beverage or two have I on Wellbutrin.

I take 2,100mg to lead my bipolar disorder from lithium, in order to help daily. My doctor always has said, thereß he/it would prefer, that I don\'t drink at all. But I have 1 or 2 gulps per month.

Maybe you/they then are more of an easy weight because of the lithium previously. You/they don\'t should to I drink excess and propose to drink water into plentiful quantities, if you consume alcohol.

through emtd65, It never is wise, alcohol, to drink such drug with any. But one doubt I, thereß individual glass of wine you each damage will inflict. But only one!

through essentia... lithium has some quite mighty effects on the brain, does alcohol therefore do, do you believe so that it is a good idea to be drunk while it takes this near circumstance drug? I sure Don\'t.

through stacijo5... I had only a bad experience in lithium, killing me took the trouble as soon as!!! I took 1500mgs twice per day. But I take meds also much other in order to treat my bi-polare disorder and I weiß certainly, that it is very uncertain, any type or a quantity of alcohol with any type of anti-psychotic or, to drink mood stabilizers. It can ung very badünstige effects on people have if they mix alcohol with these types of meds. From persI took önlicher experience from Carbatrol once, you thank God, whom I land, \'t, this still has, and decided that probably it O.K. I, that in the HE/IT with alcohol poisoning upward is wounded, I would be for a beer or two, three tops, and had gotten completely not even through the first beer, before I at the house powerless, where the party was, became, and started to have a "small" attack, during handing over everywhere. from Neely O\'Hara Perhaps, one individual glass would be okay, but I would advice more against none, or none with all, if you especially sure his/its wants.

Drinking alcohol with any drug is unwise, particularly a drug, that is used, in order to treat the brain, because you certainly can never be which effects, it would have.

Also, bear in mind, that your liver will be under much tension with the lithium without adding your body more poison.
